Reading & study
Everything opens in your browser with no download or account needed. Here's how to move through a text and make the reader work the way you like.
Go to Texts and choose Full text to start reading, or Study notes for an overview, characters, themes and chapter summaries. If you've read before while signed in, the home page shows Continue reading cards that take you back to where you stopped.
Swipe left or right across the text, or use the ← and → buttons at the bottom of the page. To jump further, choose a chapter, act and scene, or Bible book and chapter from the menu beside them, then select Go.
Tap or click the text to show the controls. Tap × or keep reading to hide them again.

| Read with illustrations | Show line drawings with the text: between pages on phones, beside the text on wide screens. Saved per text on this device. |

| A− A+ | Make the text smaller or larger. |
| B | Bold text, for easier reading. |
| ● / ○ | Switch between light and dark reading modes. |
| ● 🔊 | Show or hide the bookmark and read-this-sentence buttons beside each sentence. |
| Annotations (n) | Choose which study-note sets appear in the text. |
| Assign reading | For teachers with Google Classroom connected: assign from this page. |
Move by chapter or section. Collections such as Lawson's and Mansfield's are grouped by their original books on the Texts page.
Move by act and scene. Speakers are labelled and line numbers appear every five lines.

A shared passage link opens the page containing that sentence and marks it with an outline, so you can see exactly where the link points.
