Bookmarks let you save important places in a text so you can return to them quickly later.
While reading, use the bookmark control for the passage you want to save. The bookmark is linked to that location in the text. When a bookmark is added, the control changes to to indicate that the passage is bookmarked.
You can use bookmarks for passages you want to revisit, discuss in class, study later or use as references while preparing lessons and assignments.
Open the Bookmarks page from the main navigation to see the passages you have saved.
Each bookmark identifies the text and its location. Selecting a bookmark takes you back to the relevant passage in the reader.
Local bookmarks are stored on the device and browser you are currently using.
When available and you are signed in, cloud bookmarks are associated with your Austi Classics Pro account so they can be available across devices.
If you use Austi Classics Pro on more than one device, cloud bookmarks are the better option for bookmarks you want to keep available everywhere.
If you no longer need a bookmark, use the bookmark control again or the available remove option on the Bookmarks page.
Removing a bookmark does not change the underlying text or any annotations associated with that passage.
A bookmark simply saves a location in a text. An annotation adds or displays a note connected to a passage.
A passage can therefore have a bookmark, one or more annotations, or both.
